Ford allegedly has some pretty big plans for the 2013 Lincoln Navigator. If the luxo-barge makes it through the 2012 model year, it will be rewarded with a 3.5L EcoBoosted V6 engine, the first V6 offered in an Expedition/Navigator. In its current application in the Navi’s cousin the Ford F-150, the V6 makes 365 hp and an astonishing 425 lb-ft of torque. That makes it more powerful than the ancient tried and true 5.4L Triton V8 currently under the hood. It is unclear if the more budget-oriented Ford Expedition will also receive the heart transplant.
